June Race Cancelled

We are canceling the first race in the series this year. Due to conflicting schedules, we haven't had time to prepare as we should. We want to put on a quality race and keep it as fun as the previous events have been.

We'll focus on the fall, and look forward to seeing everyone then.

Update to Carters Lake Series Dates

Due to a conflict with Snowshoe races, we have changed the date of the second race of the SoFA/EMBA Carters Lake DH Series. The new date is 27 September 2009.
 
February Work Party At Carters Lake

Recent weather and flooding in North Georgia has taken a tole on some areas of the downhill trails are Carters Lake. To repair erosion and flooding damage we are organizing and official work party for the weekend of 7 February 2009.

Meet up time at the trail is 10am. Bring hand tools, buckets and/or wheel barrows if you have them for moving dirt. We will repair the "ski jump" and rock garden plus address any other issues on the trail. With enough help the work should be fast and leave time for an afternoon ride.
